Carpet, area rug, upholstery or mattress cleaning: which service fits?
The fastest way to get a useful estimate is to name the textile correctly. Wall-to-wall carpet, a loose rug, a sofa and a mattress may all be made from fibers, but their construction, soil and safe handling are different. When in doubt, send a photo rather than guessing.

Wall-to-wall carpet
Choose carpet cleaning for installed carpet in rooms, hallways and stairs. Useful details include room dimensions, number of steps, fiber if known, furniture coverage and traffic or pet concerns. Installed carpet is evaluated together with backing and drying conditions in the building.
Loose area rugs
Choose area rug cleaning for movable rugs, runners and oriental-style pieces. Share dimensions plus photos of the front, back, fringe and label. Fiber, dye and construction determine whether the rug can be handled in place or needs a different plan.
Sofas, sectionals and chairs
Choose upholstery cleaning for fabric-covered seating. Count seats, connected sections and loose cushions. Include recliners, sleeper mechanisms, decorative trim and the location of stains or odor. Multiple chairs can usually be listed in one request.
Mattresses and combined visits
Choose mattress cleaning for the sleeping surface and sides requested. State the size and the main concern. If you need several categories—such as a sofa, chairs and two carpeted rooms—put them in one form so HD can plan one visit and a complete scope.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you book
Is a runner carpet or an area rug?
A removable runner is generally treated as an area rug; a runner installed on stairs or a hallway is wall-to-wall carpet. Send a photo if uncertain.
Can several services be booked together?
Yes. List every piece and room in one estimate request so HD can confirm equipment, timing and the full scope.
What if I do not know the fabric or fiber?
That is normal. Provide clear photos and any available label; the technician will inspect and test before cleaning.
