01 / WHO WE ARE
HD Upholstery Cleaning is a family-run textile cleaning company based in Hudson, Massachusetts. We proudly serve homes and businesses across Massachusetts — outside of the Berkshires and the far-western counties — plus select areas of Southern New Hampshire. We clean sofas, mattresses, wall-to-wall carpet and wool area rugs using fabric-matched hot water extraction and non-toxic products that are safe for children and pets.
Six months of closed windows and forced hot air. Road salt from December to March. Wood smoke, dog beds, muddy cleats from the field. Houses out here work hard on their textiles, and the older housing stock in Concord, Sudbury and Stow means we are often working on wool and heirloom pieces that will not tolerate a one-size-fits-all machine.
We do not run a franchise script. We identify the fiber, test it, and choose the method to fit it. That is the whole difference.
03 / THE PROCESS
We identify fiber, construction and cleaning code, then test an inconspicuous area for colorfastness. Nothing gets wet before we know how it behaves.
High-filtration vacuuming pulls out grit, pet hair and dander. Most soil in a textile is dry, and removing it first is what separates a real clean from a wet one.
Stains are treated individually. Body oils, food, urine, ink and traffic-lane soil each need a different chemistry, applied only where it is needed.
A soft brush or upholstery tool works the solution into the fibers so it reaches the base of the pile instead of sitting on the surface.
Hot water extraction under pressure flushes out the loosened soil and the solution with it. Delicate fabrics get a low-moisture method instead.
A pH-neutral rinse leaves the fiber balanced and residue-free. Residue is why some carpets re-soil within weeks of being cleaned.
Where odor is coming from the source rather than the surface, we treat it at the source. Fiber protector is optional and priced separately.
We groom the pile, set up airflow, and walk the job with you before we leave. If something is not right, we fix it then, not next week.
04 / ON THE JOB
Filmed on real jobs across MetroWest. No stock footage and no stand-ins. Six clips from six different jobs, from a dark sectional to a rug cleaned in the middle of a living room.

05 / RESULTS
A bedroom carpet in a Hudson home, cleaned in a single visit. No filters, no staging, no second angle. Pull the handle across to see what came out of the pile.
Every result on this site is our own work in a MetroWest home, photographed on the day.
BeforeAfter
06 / WHAT YOU GET
The cleaning code and the fabric are identified before any moisture touches the piece. Method follows the fiber, not the clock.
Extraction equipment and industry-approved solutions, not a rental machine and a bottle from the hardware store.
Eco-friendly, family-safe products throughout. Rooms go back into use as soon as they are dry.
Extraction pulls the moisture back out instead of leaving it in the pile, so the house is usable the same day.
You get the figure before we start. No opening number that grows once the equipment is through the door.
Residential jobs, offices, waiting rooms and rentals across Hudson and the MetroWest towns we cover.

Price depends on the number of pieces or rooms, the fiber, and how heavily soiled the item is. Estimates are free and we confirm the figure with you before any work begins, so nothing changes once we are in the house.
Upholstery is dry to the touch in 3 to 6 hours, mattresses in 4 to 6 hours, carpet in 4 to 8 hours and wool area rugs in 12 to 24 hours. Airflow shortens all of these.
